We have put together a list of online resource tools that you can utilize to
help research and finalize your travel plans. These tools are all found under the sub-menu section of the Travel
Tools Menu. For your convince we will include information below on how to use each tool. As we find more
tools to help you we will include them in this section.

+ Airfare Search with ITA Software
One of my favorite tools!
This software is free to use by consumers and is a great way to get a quick idea of what is out there in regards to flights and pricing. The software loads all the current published airfare there is for most major carriers. Please note that some of the low cost carriers may not be included in this search so you might have to go directly to their web sites to get an airfare quote. On the landing page of our link you have two options, to get a quote from the matrix or on the fly. If you are not going to look up airfare on your Apple device then click on the Matrix. Plans to be able to access this software from other mobile devices are in the works for the future so check back with them at a later date. + World Airport Codes.com
This is a fast way to look up what the airport code is for the destinations you are searching for. Some travel reservation systems still work with the three character airport code system so it is great to be able to pull that information quickly.

+ Check My Trip by Amadeus
If your reservations were made through a travel reservation system you should be able to check your itinerary information by following the instructions on this site. If your reservations were made directly with the travel supplier there is a chance you will not find any information on your reservations with this site.

This site has all kinds of tools for you to convert your currency for travelers.
+ Time Zone Check.com
This Map is a fast and easy way to check time in other countries.
+ The Weather Channel.com
For the most trusted weather forecast in the business check your travel weather often before any trip at the Weather Channel.com
+ Moon Phase Calendar
This calendar can tell you know what the future moon will look like while on your trip.

+ Passport Information
On this government site you will be able to find up to date information on how to request or update your Passport. Here you can also find out when a Passport is required. If you are having trouble with understanding the Passport procedures you can use your search engine to find more information about Passports.
+ CDC Traveler’s Health
Center for Disease Control (CDC) Travelers' Health offers information to assist travelers and their health-care providers in deciding the vaccines, medications, and other measures necessary to prevent illness and injury during international travel.
+ Center for Disease Control Vaccinations
You are able to look up the country in which you are traveling to and find out what vaccinations are required or recommended.
+ U.S. Embassies
It is a very good idea when you are traveling outside the United States to look up and keep with you the contact information including the addresses of all U.S. Embassies in the countries that you will be traveling. This is important in case of a natural disaster, social conflict or any other instance you might need this information. I would also email this information to yourself on a web based email account.
+ Registration with Embassies
If you are traveling Abroad you are able to register with the U.S. Department of State to create a log of information that will help you in case of an emergency.
+ U.S. Current Travel Warnings
Before you make reservations and a few days before you are scheduled to leave on your international trip you should check this government site to ensure there are no travel warnings for the countries that you are traveling to or through. If you have a layover in one of these countries that has a travel warning you will want to contact someone at the state department to make sure this should not be a problem. If there is a travel waning in the country you are traveling to please read all information on this warning from as many sources as you can find and make the best decision for you and your traveling party’s safety.
+ Current Travel Alerts
Travel Alerts are issued to educate travelers about short term issues that might cause concern to the traveler. Please check this site before making reservations and before you start your trip.
+ T.S.A. for Travelers
Transportation Security Administration (T.S.A.) will provide you with current safety information including packing procedures. Please view all information on this site before you leave for your trip. Some of the information you will find on this site are 3-1-1 Liquid Policy, how to get through the lines faster, acceptable identification at checkpoints, traveling with children, traveling with special items, and lost and found contact information. This is a site that you will want to review before any trip to make sure you are in line with all of T.S.A.’s policies and procedures. Remember these policies and procedures are in place to protect travelers.
+ U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection
This is a great site to check before any trip that you have to go through customs. Making sure that you are not entering or exiting a country without the right documentation and any contraband that might get you in hot water is always the best policy.
